Meaning of the Mandala

This mandala is based on the repetition of a simple arabesque, echoing the sinuous and pinnacled forms of domes found in the Arab world. The arabesque is a combination of lines and colors arranged in repeated patterns with a regular rhythm. It serves as a foundation for contemplation and allows one to transcend the constraints of time.

It evokes the idea of a labyrinth, where the center is reached after a complex journey — symbolizing the achievement that comes after life’s challenges and trials. This mandala also recalls the sun, with its rays radiating in all directions.

For this reason, the center is yellow and the rays are orange, transitioning through neutral tones until reaching the green of nature — which receives this energy and transforms it into nourishment for the earth.
